영상에서 GREEN JOB이라는 자막이 계속해서 눈에 띄는데요. GREEN JOB이란 무슨 뜻일까요?

• green (collar) job = 녹색 일자리, 친환경 일자리

에너지 환경 변화에 따라 새롭게 생겨난 일자리를 말합니다. 친환경 에너지와 관련된 모든 일자리가 해댕되는데요. 대표적으로 재생에너지 기술자, 바이오 디젤 전문가, 제품환경컨설턴트, 에코제품디자이너, 도시농업활동가, 환경교육강사, 오염부지정화연구원 등이 있습니다. 농업, 산업, 서비스, 행정부문에서 환경의 질을 개선시키는 일자리라고 볼 수 있습니다. 지난 2011년 미국에서 창출된 GREEN JOB은 340만 개입니다. 미국 정부는 앞으로 10년 동안 GREEN JOB을 500만개 창출한다는 계획입니다. 환경보호의 중요성이 강조되면서 GREEN JOB이 미래 유망직업으로 부상하고 있습니다.

• white collar job = 사무직

• blue collar job = 생산직

• brown collar job = 기업가 정신이 반영된 일자리 (blue collar 노동력+white collar 아이디어)

We're 2.5 million jobs fewer than in December 2007, when the recession started.

It's at the utmost importance to add jobs.

I have couple of suggestions.

First of all, change the Affordable Care Act, so that you could move from 49 to 50 workers in a firm without incurring a big price.

Right now, employers, if they go from 49 to 50 workers, they have to pay $2,000 per worker, if they don't have the right kind of health insurance.

That law needs to be changed.

Because that can cost an employer $40,000, moving from 49 to 50.

And having listened to the President right now, I would say don't make electricity more expensive.

Because making electricity with renewables, rather than with natural gas and coal, makes energy more expensive, and it drives away manufacturing.

Energy intensive manufacturing locates elsewhere, not in the US. And we've seen a lot of manufacturing come back here, because of the inexpensive gas.
